Capabilities

With the folder gallery, you are able to:

• simply drop image folders in the gallery dir to create new galleries via FTP
• or create and manage dirs and upload images online
• upload images in zips (server side support required)
  
• set default images for folders or change icons for them
  
• have captions for images or folders
• show folder descriptions on mouseover
  
• select one of the preconfigured themes or create your own.
• customize the look by using css
• display EXIF info of your photos
• automatically insert copyright text into photos
• automatically insert watermarks into photos
• use multiple languages (includes a few predefined language files and an example theme for creating multilanguage site)
  
• localise the links and url parameters to your own language
• Choose normal URLs or friendly URLs by using mod_rewrite/htaccess on apache
• define amount of images per page
• choose from UL list or CSS dropdown menu
• choose vertical or horizontal menu (theme based since v.3)
  
• define thumbnail sizes
• choose if you want to open large images inside the gallery page or in a popup
  
• set most of these settings individually for each folder
  
• use the gallery as an include() or a standalone version
• Display any kind of files with download links in filelist mode.
• Embed video files by simply dropping them in the folder.
• Use "Highslide JS" image zoom script (preconfigured, requires separate download)
• Use "Lightbox2" javascript image viewer to show your photos (preconfigured, requires separate download)
